Swedish renowned packaging company Tetra Pak is likely still doing business in Russia, despite the company’s plea to withdrawn.
According to a report by Swedish quality newspaper Dagens Nyheter, Tetra Pak attracted a “middle man” company that would deliver the packaging without any logos or names to Russia. Already after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the Swedish packaging company was reluctant to kill its business in Russia – despite political and public pressure.
Dagens Nyheter got hold of an internal document with the instructions to the “middle man” company. Tetra Pak acknowledges the existence of the instructions, but does not confirm nor deny the deal is still valid. | © 2023 Marcel Burger, nordicreporter.com.
