4 gas leaks/holes in the #nordstream pipelines, Swedish Coast Guard has confirmed to broadcasting company SVT. Two in the Danish and two in the Swedish economic zone. A spokesperson says there has been some confusion on the locations before. #Sweden

In the Baltic Sea, the German navy is steaming up to the locations of the holes in the #nordstream pipelines to support the Danish and Swedish navies and repair vessels. Some experts say Nord Stream might be useless in the future soon, as saltwater erodes them from inside.

Norwegian offshore companies increased the security at their sights overnight, including at helicopter bases and support ports, after multiple unidentified drones near oil and gas platforms, and suspected sabotage of #nordstream. #Norway's police more visible at land-based sites.

"The two main explosions at the #nordstream pipelines had a strength similar to a heavy WW2 bomb." ~ professor Geophysics Klaus Mosegaard of the Copenhagen University to Danish Radio. The explosions were 2.3 and 2.1 on the Richter scale, a heavy WW2 bomb about 2.5. (DR) #sabotage
